{"id":134,"date":"2024-09-25T00:34:46","date_gmt":"2024-09-24T23:34:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oceangateshealthcare.com\/develop\/?page_id=134"},"modified":"2024-09-27T23:56:04","modified_gmt":"2024-09-27T22:56:04","slug":"consultation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/oceangateshealthcare.com\/?page_id=134","title":{"rendered":"Consultation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PHONE CONSULTATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The first step toward service is a free phone consultation with an admissions representative.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b\u200bThe client&#8217;s situation is discussed in detail and all questions answered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the caller is comfortable moving forward, the representative gathers the client&#8217;s information and then schedules an assessment with a case manager.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The goal of the consultation is always to be as helpful as possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ASSESSMENT<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even if a client is not ready to start services, a free consultation by one of our clinical<br>case managers can be helpful. There are always questions or issues discovered in<br>person that are difficult to identify over the phone.<br>\u200b<br>\uf0b7 The case manager will evaluate the client&#8217;s needs and environment to determine<br>what skills are needed in a caregiver.<br>\u200b<br>\uf0b7 They also discuss the wishes and expectations of the client and family in regards<br>to the caregiver to identify the best personality fit for the client.<br>\u200b<br>\uf0b7 If the client is ready to start services, the case manager completes the required<br>paperwork and creates a care plan for the client which stays in the home and is<br>regularly updated to ensure quality communication between case manager,<br>caregivers and client.<br>\u200b<br>\uf0b7 Once the admissions paperwork is complete, the case manager meets with the<br>scheduler to identify the best candidates from available caregivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SERVICES BEGIN<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Services typically begin as early as the next day but same-day service can be arranged<br>depending on the availability of caregivers. Schedules are flexible and services can be<br>cancelled at any time.
